Delete your Meetwin account

From the app

1. Open the Meetwin app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Select Delete my account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete my account in the dialog that appears.

Deletion runs immediately: your account is signed out and no longer accessible.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, write to contact@meetwin.fr from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We delete the account after verifying your identity, within thirty (30) days at the latest.

Data that is deleted

• your profile data: last name, first name, username, email address, gender, date of birth and city;
• all your photographs, erased from our storage servers (Amazon S3);
• your biometric data: your face template is removed from the Amazon Rekognition collection, along with every similarity score derived from it;
• your conversations, messages, voice messages and photographs exchanged in conversation;
• your matches, your search filters, your blocks and reports, your notifications;
• your devices' notification token, which stops receiving any notification.

Data retained after deletion

Some data is kept beyond the deletion of the account, only for the periods imposed by applicable regulation:

• billing data linked to a subscription, kept for the statutory period of ten (10) years;
• data strictly necessary to manage the contractual relationship, archived for two (2) years.

No biometric data is retained after the account is deleted.

Active subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription taken out through the App Store or Google Play. Remember to cancel it from the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account.
